To our valued clients,
By now we are all aware of the severity of COVID-19 and our collective responsibility to try to protect our communities in any way we can. While we do not want to add to the stress by compromising our service to you, there are certain measures that we have decided to take which we feel are in everyone’s best interest.
Effective immediately, we are going to limit the amount of in-person interaction that takes place at our offices by conducting all regularly scheduled appointments via telephone. If you are not comfortable with this, you will have the option to postpone your appointment until we are seeing clients in-person again. One of our staff members will contact you directly regarding any existing appointments or court dates.
Please do not attend the office to drop off documents, make payments, or to speak to our staff in person. We are happy to receive information via email, fax, or telephone. Payments can be made via e-transfer or by calling the office with a credit card number.
We will be monitoring the situation daily and as matters evolve, we will continue to provide updates and inform you individually of any specific changes to your appointments or court dates. Currently all non-urgent court matters are being cancelled or postponed by both the Provincial and Supreme courts. If you have a scheduled court appearance within the next three months, it is likely to be rescheduled and we will keep all clients informed of any updates provided by the court.
We know we have a responsibility to our clients, families, and community to be as cautious as possible, and that is what we’re trying to do.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation. We understand that this is an especially trying time with the addition of family stressors. We’re all in this together and we look forward to working with you all.
