DAL is a boutique family law firm with offices in Nanaimo, Qualicum Beach, and Comox, and remote employees in Vancouver. There is more good news… you do not need to know anything about law to be DAL’s receptionist! As we are paperless, we do need our receptionist to be tech-savvy. Our ideal candidate is also willing to learn new systems and pitch in where needed. Primary responsibilities include:
- Answering phones
- Receiving and distributing emails and faxes
- Opening client files
- Filing and scanning documents
- Data entry
- Running errands and stocking supplies
Our dream hire is a consummate professional (meaning they take their job seriously, are honest and hardworking, and understand confidentiality), organized, and eager to be a part of a great team. Preferably, they will have worked in an office before. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed an office administration certificate.
The position is full-time (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday), in-person at our bustling downtown Nanaimo office. The position is available immediately, but of course, we are willing to wait for the right person.
