MacKenna joined Duncan Allen in April of 2023, after a busy semester at Vancouver Island University. She is on track to graduate in the spring of 2024, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in criminology and a legal studies certificate. She came to the firm with a background in reception, with the goal of gaining experience in the legal field before entering law school. MacKenna has greatly enjoyed working within the family law field and will likely specialize in it once she becomes a lawyer. When she is not at Duncan Allen or studying, she teaches dance to all ages at Qualicum Beach School of Dance. In her free time, you can find her exercising her creative side, by playing the piano or guitar, drawing, or trying out a new recipe.
