Hailey obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria in 2022. Prior to attending law school, Hailey completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in history (honours) and a minor in philosophy at the University of Northern British Columbia.

Hailey appreciates that there are many forms of advocacy, and always crafts an approach that is aligned with her client’s goals and needs. She prides herself in being a strategist through and through. Hailey understands that the best legal strategy is one that reduces conflict and gets the matter resolved as quickly and cost-efficiently as possible. With that said, Hailey respects that some issues can only be solved by court action. Hailey has the disposition to handle high-conflict matters, urgent issues, and complex litigation.

Hailey is aware of the emotional, financial, and practical difficulties inherent with separation, and leads with empathy throughout her practice. She appreciates that families take many forms, and is welcoming of LGBTQ+ families, blended families, and multi-generational families.

Hailey first joined Duncan Allen Law as a summer student in 2021. Originally from the lower mainland, Hailey appreciates all the island has to offer. In her spare time, Hailey enjoys being active and adventuring outside with her dog.
