Kasey obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in May of 2022. Prior to attending law school, Kasey completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at Vancouver Island University, graduating with Distinction.
Kasey recognizes the toll that litigation can take on individuals, and strives to ensure client matters are resolved as pragmatically and cost-effectively as possible. She advocates for out-of-court resolutions including negotiation, mediation, and settlement-based court appearances. She has achieved out-of-court resolutions for clients including consent orders, settlement agreements, and mediated outcomes. Kasey is happy to also offer unbundled retainer services, also known as legal coaching, for clients who may not need full legal representation.
Kasey supports and appreciates diverse clients, including those who seek to adopt, multi-generational families, and LGBTQ+ families. She encourages flexible approaches to meet whatever needs clients may have, be that preparation of cohabitation agreements, family restructuring after separation, drafting of parenting or separation agreements, and everything in between. Kasey recognizes that, at times, court intervention is needed, and has successfully advocated for clients in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.
In her spare time, Kasey enjoys camping, skiing, and spending time with her spouse, dog, and family members.
